With snow predicted for Table Mountain, we decided on an early morning hike up the mountain for a chance to see some snow.

5AM we were off.

We encountered quite a few rain showers, but as we neared the top these changed to a mix of rain and ice. Halfway up we started finding quite a lot of ice on the ground, whether from hail or snow, we couldn’t tell.

As soon as we reached the top, it started snowing.

The top of Table Mountain was covered in a fine layer of ice. Freezing cold winds and rain would make this a quick visit.
